VMX WA Night Series this weekend at Narrogin

This year the VMX WA season is starting with a Night Series at the Narrogin Track - something entirely different. The first of these will be held on Saturday, 18th March. It is anticipated that Scrutineering and sign-on will commence about 5.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Rider’s brief at 6.15 p.m. With practice at 6.30 p.m. Depending on the sun on that day it is hoped to start racing at 7.00 p.m . A shortened, approximately 400 metre track, has been developed within the confines, and centred, around the bottom half of the existing track
Lights etc. have been installed, but if any of you who are intending to attend this night series can bring down with them extra power leads, they would be most welcome.
This event is open to Club Members. You can pay membership on the night.
One event licences have gone up in price to $75, but the club still has some at $60 which we can still use until all are gone. Normal rider’s fee is $30.
So lets get 2017 off to a bumper start - drag the old souls out - both mechanical and physical and come along for a look. If successful more night rides to follow :) so come and help things along!!!!

VMXWA 2017 Ride Calendar.

Ladies and Gents - find below the calendar for the club for 2017. Note the new Wandering track this year - another one - for more awesome natural terrain. It is also the 15th Anniversary for the Mill Farm scramble at Wandering and plans are being put together to make this bigger than Ben Hur!!!! Due to, well usually, the heat seen early in the year the club is going to trial a small night series at the beginning of the season on a modified and shortened track - should be good fun so be in it to win it. Also shared race meets with our friends the Post Classic club at Darkan - a track well liked by all. Looks like being a great year with the Nats also a lot closer at Port Pirie South Australia (different track to the last Nats held at Crystal Brook) so dust off the old bodies - bikes and riders - and have a go

2017 CLUB EVENT CALENDAR

Although the calendar has been extensively researched, it is still liable to change due to unforeseen circumstances. So please check the newsletter, newspaper and the website for any late changes. Camp overs are encouraged at all events, but check the terrain and facilities list below so that you can prepare your machine and your kit.
