Please find below some of the funding opportunities that are now available at the moment for certain clubs, organisations and individuals that fit the required criteria.
Department of Sports and Recreation Community Sport and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF)
The CSRFF Annual/Forward planning round (projects over $200,000) is now open. To help your club plan for this grant and other CSRFF rounds please see the attached schedule for when the grants open, need to be back with the shire and when the decision is made. If your club is thinking about apply for any level of the CSRFF grants this year, please in contact with Department of Sport and Recreation as they are more than happy to help you.
The CSRFF is a great opportunity for clubs, it allows you to apply for up to 1/3 of the cost of your project from the Department of Sports and Recreation, you can then apply to the shire for a contribution toward another 1/3 and the club raises the remaining funds – of which a percentage can be accounted for with volunteer time. Youth Engagement Grants
Grants of up to $10,000 are available for local governments and community service organisations to implement projects that engage young people (10–18 years old) in creative ways and help achieve positive outcomes.
Your project should address one or more of the following program objectives:
· Develop the knowledge, confidence and skills young people need to be actively involved in community life and to respond to issues impacting on their lives.
· Provide opportunities for young people to learn and develop life skills to help them to achieve their goals.
· Promote and/or create environments and accessible services and programs to keep young people well and promote lifelong healthy lifestyles.
