Coming into the national event this year I was really excited, I was just feeling good on the bike and felt fitter than I had been all year.
Qualifying didn't go too well, it never really does, with 20th. This wasn't a great help for my starts for the first day as I was stuck on the outside, but I swapped it up for the second day for some better starts.
The first race I went down on the first lap but managed to fight back to 16th. I think the next two races for the weekend I finished in 14th. My best race was the last finishing in 11th.
My consistency allowed me to finish up with 12th for the weekend.
I am really happy with this result as it was much better that my result last year, and it has only made me hungrier for a better result next year.
I would not have been able to do any of this with out my amazing sponsors. I cannot thank the guys at Cully's Yamaha enough, Dynotime, Yamalube, Dragon, Fly, Sidiboots, Jim's Antennas, All Technique Coaching and my family.
I'd also like to thank the Women's Committee for the support they gave in helping us girls from WA make the trip over to the Eastern State to compete in the Women's National Motocross Championships.
