Motorcycling WA Board Appoints CEO
The Board of Motorcycling Western Australia would like to announce that the recent recruitment process for the role of CEO has been completed and the position filled.

We would like to start by thanking outgoing CEO Rick Gill for 15 years of service to the Sport of Motorcycling.

Rick has grown the sport considerably since 2003, in that time nearly doubling membership, increasing the number of affiliated clubs and increasing profitability. A number of programs introduced by Rick are unique to WA and his contribution to national programs and initiatives has been substantial.

He has bought a great deal of professionalism to our sport and implemented efficient systems with extensive strategic planning and governance and this is something that as members are very thankful for.

Rick has also put processes into place for our sport that will stand the test of time and again we are sincerely grateful for his achievements.

We would like to sincerely wish Rick all the best for the future.

The Board acknowledge the depth of applications for the position of CEO and following an extensive process would like to announce the successful applicant is Mr Joe McCarthy.

Incoming CEO Joe comes from a sporting management background and is no stranger to the Sport of  Motorcycling. We will introduce Joe more comprehensively when he takes over the role on the 23rd of May 2018.
