| Other Albany Motorcycle Club Inc Information Albany Motorsports Park. We strive to make this the best all-around track in the Northwest. The track itself changes from week to week, varying in length from 3/4 mile to around one mile. The track is a very nice loam that is almost entirely rock and dust free, with some sand mixed in. There are small doubles, big doubles, triples, tables, straights and sweepers, and everything in between. Additionally, we have port-a-pottys scattered throughout the site, as well as clean bathrooms (with showers). Linda’s Snack Shack has excellent food at good prices. This is a fun, family-oriented track.
If you’re looking for a challenging, professional motocross track or a new rider and looking for somewhere to get your feet wet, this is it!

| Other Collie Motorcycle Club Information The Collie Motorcycle Club’s Stockton Park circuit is located on Piavinnini Rd, about 7km east of Collie and adjacent to Stockton Lake.
To get to Stockton Park, follow the road signs to Collie. Stay on the main road heading east towards Darkan. About 7km out of town turn right down Piavinnini Rd. The Stockton circuit is 500m on your left.
The Collie Motorcycle Club has a small membership with an even smaller committee, however the club has the ability to run quality events of all disciplines.
The membership base of CMCC is very diverse with both senior and junior Motocross riders, Vintage Motocross, Enduro and Trail riders.
CMCC hosts the Griffin Coal Junior and Senior Motocross Challenge during the Easter long weekend. One of the Honda Country Pony Express Series (held on private property) and in the past has hosted state round enduros and state round motocross events.
On the local level CMCC participates in an interclub series with other South West Clubs.
At club level there is natural terrain motocross, trail rides and general fun days, where the object of the day is to have fun and enjoy the fellowship of other riders.
The Vintage MX Club of WA utilizes the circuit for two of their events each year.
The Stockton Park circuit consists of sand, gravel and clay. The circuit is approximately 1.8km long and would be regarded as a reasonably technical track. Stockton Park has full circuit reticulated water and is favored as the hosting club for events early and late in the season due to the availability of the water.
The club has the standard range of membership options at probably the lowest rates around. All membership applications go before a general meeting for acceptance constitutional reasons).
The Stockton Park facilities include the club room with TV, Video and sound system and also incorporate the canteen and bar. The standard male and female ablutions and if you get the boiler going there is hot water. With the best part being access to the beautiful Stockton Lake where you can ski, swim or just take in the view.

The Club is affiliated with the controlling body of motor cycle sport – Motorcycling Western Australia (MWA). All events conducted by the Club are done so under the authority of MWA and the General Competition Rules (GCRs) of Motorcycling Australia.
Membership is open to anyone interested in historic motorcycles. Ownership of an eligible machine is not a prerequisite.
The Club conducts Road Race meetings at Wanneroo & Collie between March and November, including a State Championship that is held at the end of the racing season.
Food and refreshments are available during the day at events and the events conclude with a presentation of awards and a sausage sizzle with drinks.
The Club also conducts “tuning days”. These track days allow members who hold an MWA competition licence the opportunity to test their machines. If you want to start competing you will need to attend a minimum of one, preferably two, tuning days prior to an observed licence test.
MWA competition licence applications and more information about obtaining a licence are available from the Club Secretary.
If you would like to discuss your machine’s eligibility for events, please contact Alan Warner, on (08) 9490 3299 (after hours).
During the year the Club holds social club runs that are a great opportunity to have fun, get the cobwebs out of the bikes and meet fellow members.
General meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at the Old Caversham Racetrack, Clubroom Harrow Road, Caversham at 8 pm. The format for the evening is firstly a general meeting, to keep members informed of club business, proposed events, and decisions made by the Committee. The evenings include a buy and sell section. Drinks are available, meetings are short and an effort is made to keep them informative and interesting and open to the membership for comments. They also provide the perfect venue to discuss historic motorcycle sport with fellow club members.
If you do not want to race a historic motorcycle, you are more than welcome to help the Club run events. Many members assist as Officials in various capacities and it is an ideal way to get close to the action and meet the riders and members.
Membership entitles the member to enter HCMC events, voting rights etc. Members also receive the Club’s newsletter reporting on events and informative news about the Club.

| Other Lightweight Motorcycle Club Information The Lightweight Motorcycle club was founded in 1952 and the track is located on the South West Highway, Mundijong. It is approximately 15 mins from Armadale. The Lightweight club has two tracks - a motocross track and an arenacross track.
Motocross Track - has 40 start gates and consists of a loam/gravel substance which can be quite slippery when dry and thick and tacky when wet and offers great funfor all to enjoy, the length of the track is approximately 2Kms having a width of 6m consisting of left and right turns and a series of small to large jumps. There are great spectating areas from where you can watch the racing, if it is raining we have an undercover area right next to our canteen and bar area.
Arena Cross Track - What is an arena cross track you ask? Well it is a modified supercross track, meaning that on a supercross track you have doubles and triples, these are jumps with a gap between each highest point, though regulations state that juniors under 12 years are unable to compete on a supercross track so we have had to fill these gaps to make table tops, this offers a more safer environment for our juniors to ride. The arena cross track has only 15 start gates and consists of a loam/gravel substance, it is approximately 600 metres long with tight left and right turns, has a series of whoops and small to large table tops, great flying bar banging action with excellent spectator viewing.
Race meets are held Feb/March on a Saturday night under lights and again in Oct/Nov.

All proceeds and revenues raised by the Association go towards the pursuit of the Association's objectives.
Until now, recreational riders – those who prefer to just get out and enjoy riding rather than competing in organised activities – have not had an association through which their interests can be effectively represented. Without this representation we do not have a strong voice in government. And without a strong voice in government we can’t hope to achieve positive change. The Recreational Trailbike Riders Association of WA (RTRA) has been formed to represent your interests as a trail bike rider. |

VINTAGE VENUES Narrogin Motocross Circuit - The VMCWA
has refurbished the old Narrogin circuit to its former vintage glory. A fast and flowing circuit, up and down large hills, it is sure to satisfy your need for speed and thrills. Full track facilities are there - toilets, hot showers, running water, canteen, BBQ's - all for use at
club days. Driving time from Perth is about two and a half hours. Camp-overs are encouraged!
York and Bindoon Natural Terrain Circuits
Members also race on a privately owned "natural terrain" farm circuits, about 90 minutes from Perth. With a grassy undulating layout, with a few water crossings thrown in, these circuits are perfect for the novice or for those just getting back into the sport. Other tracks and other events -Throughout the year VMCWA members are often invited to compete on other established tracks (e.g. Byford and Collie) as well as other types of events ranging from grass track racing, speedway to cross country. The Club is also constantly looking for new venues, so if you have a few hectares and would like to make your own track, give us a call!
HOW TO GET STARTED?
It's easy..... VMX is low cost, low key, 100% fun!
1. Join the VMCWA Club - only $35.00 for the full one year membership
2. Buy or build a suitable bike
3. Get into shape??!
4. Buy the necessary protective clothing - Helmet, boots, pants, etc.
5. "Take it out and get it Dirty"!
6. Tell your friends and family how fast you
were. Even "after all those years".
The VMCWA Club is more than willing to assist you with the necessary requirements to race. Even assisting with locating the required machinery. Every month the VMCWA newsletter is published and sent to all club members. Advertising is free and if you need something this is the ideal place to start looking and advertising. Our Editor is more than happy to run any type of ad (with the right kind of bribe of course).
The riding attire is standard fare:
Approved helmet (AS1698 or similar approval), riding pants (leathers or nylons), sturdy boots of full ankle protection, gloves and full sleeve riding shirt. Some riding attire is available through the club at cheap prices - check the newsletter for details. Racing, fitness and health.
No one's as fit as they were 10 (or 20) years ago, but don't let that put you off. Before you start racing its wise to do a little riding to get into shape. You know, gears on the left.... or is it the right? That sort of thing. Don't forget to mention to your doctor, when you are
getting your next check-up, that you're going racing - he may want to come too!
WANT TO KNOW MORE?
The Club meets every 4th Wednesday of each Month: at the Como Bowling Club 99 Hensman St, South Perth. Start time 8.00 p.m.
