Motorcycle sport is a fun, safe and enjoyable activity and getting involved is easy.
Riding a motorcycle is fast becoming an activity of choice for more and more women and girls and there are so many different ways to get involved in motorcycling in Western Australia. And you don’t have to be a rider to be involved in this wonderful sport – there are many women involved behind the scenes as officials, coaches, club administrators, and volunteers who have just as much fun being involved and meeting new people as the riders.
There are many different disciplines to try and each offers the rider a slightly different experience – Enduro, Supermoto, Trials, Speedway, Motocross, MiniX , Road Racing, Historic Road Racing, Classic and Vintage motocross. All of our clubs have active women and girls who are willing to support and assist new comers to the sport whether it is competitive or recreational that you are interested in.
For those who are just starting out, the women’s only ride days, women’s only coaching events and general come and try or Ride Park Australia days are a great way to get started. Stay tuned to our web page and Facebook pages for next events.
For those a little more advanced, each of the disciplines have active female members and all welcome new women and girls to their clubs.
The MWA Women’s committee has been actively involved for many years now which has resulted in most disciplines offering female only classes or championships.
