Below is a summary of the requirements for affiliation and operating a club within the Motorcycling Western Australia structure.
In order for any new club to become affiliated with Motorcycling Western Australia the following applies.
1.1 The Club must be properly structured with office bearers
1.2 The Club must be an incorporated body
1.3 The Club must have a Constitution and rules and/or by-laws
Any application for affiliation must have:
- Copies of the incorporation certificate and constitution;
- An annual affiliation fee of $690.00,
- Background information outlining the history of the club and plans for the future. This will be helpful for MWA board to understand your club a
little more fully
The board of Motorcycling Western Australia will assess and approve each application for affiliation. The board meets every month on the 2nd Wednesday. Applications need to be received one week prior to ensure our board members receive notification prior to the meeting.
Once affiliation has been approved and fees paid your Professional Indemnity Insurance and non-riding Public Liability Insurance kicks in. This insurance is heavily subsidised for our member clubs.
