Motorcycling WA (MWA) is pleased to announce that Expressions of Interest (EOI) are now open for appointments to the MWA Sporting Panels and Officials Review & Advisory Panels.
These panels play an important role in supporting the ongoing growth, development and future direction of motorcycle sport and officiating in Western Australia. Panel members provide the MWA Board and State Controlling Body (SCB) with strategic advice, technical expertise and informed guidance across their respective areas of responsibility.
The Sporting Panels provide advice and expertise relating to the development of motorcycle sport, including matters that support the continued growth, improvement and sustainability of the sport across Western Australia.
The Officials Review & Advisory Panel has an additional responsibility for reviewing and assessing officials’ technical performance, grading and accreditation, within the scope outlined in the Panel’s Terms of Reference.
Panel members are appointed directly by the MWA Board of Directors, in accordance with Part 16 of the Motorcycling Western Australia Constitution. Appointments are for a two-year term, with all panel positions undertaken on a voluntary basis.
MWA encourages suitably experienced and passionate members of the motorcycle community who are interested in contributing their knowledge, skills and expertise to the future development of motorcycle sport and officiating in WA to submit an Expression of Interest.
Expressions of Interest are now open.
Applicants are encouraged to review the relevant Terms of Reference before submitting their EOI to understand the role, responsibilities and expectations of panel members.
